SURE gives UCF undergraduates the opportunity to present their work, often for the first time, in a professional setting. SURE is an opportunity for undergraduate students to disseminate the research and creative projects to the broader UCF community. This is a great accomplishment during an undergraduate career, as well as outstanding preparation for graduate school and the workforce.
The audience at the Showcase includes UCF faculty, students, and staff, but also alumni, family, friends, and the greater Central Florida community. This provides an excellent forum for networking and conversations about career paths and future opportunities. Teams of faculty judges evaluate student presentations and the top projects in each category are awarded substantial scholarships provided by our sponsors including the UCF Student Government Association, colleges, and private contributors.
